Once you have added a video or audio file to your project's timeline, you can begin captioning it. To do so, click on the `Subtitle editor` tab. This will open the caption editor, where you can add captions to your video.
First, select the recited surah from the dropdown list in the top right corner. Then, input the number of the first verse recited in the video. The corresponding Arabic verse should appear in the editor.
To start adding captions, press the `space` key on your keyboard. This will play the video and audio. When the reciter begins reciting a verse, use the `left` and `right` arrow keys to highlight the words being recited.
Once you have highlighted the words and the reciter has finished reciting them, press the `enter` key to add the caption to the timeline. The caption will appear in the timeline below the editor. Repeat this process until the recitation is complete.
You can also add predefined captions to the timeline by pressing the corresponding key on your keyboard. These shortcuts are displayed when you hover over the `?` button in the top left corner of the software.
